Partner news: NHS Scotland Assure is a new NSS Service launching this year to increase patient safety levels and the quality of our healthcare building facilities throughout Scotland.

The service will bring together a multi-disciplinary team of experts to help improve healthcare environments, strengthen clinical outcome-focused relationships and risk management in NHS Scotland estates.

NHS Scotland Assure will play a crucial guidance role regarding incidents and outbreaks across health and social care. It will strengthen infection prevention and control in the built environment with an aim to develop an international reputation as leaders in the field.

As part of the service team of experts, NHS Scotland Assure are recruiting new nursing opportunities of Nurse Consultants and Senior Nurses in infection prevention and control. These exciting roles will provide guidance and support by offering expert opinion and professional advice, work collaboratively to develop and raise awareness, and influence change at local and national level.

The Nurse Consultants will lead and influence national health protection programmes designed to achieve priority public health objectives and oversee the development and maintain public health challenges.
